Is this service covered by insurance?
Your Labs are covered as long as you have insurance. The mobile blood draw IS NOT covered.
Is water or coffee ok on a fast?
While it is safe to have black coffee or tea on a fast it is advised to be well hydrated for the best possible experience. Caffeine is a diuretic.
Water is not only safe but advised on a fast. Hydration is key to the best possible experience.
Requisitions & Lab Orders
To ensure we collect the correct samples for your lab work, we require a requisition or a blood work order from your doctor. This document tells us exactly what tests need to be performed.
The best way to get your lab order to us is to:
• Ask your doctor's office to email it to you, then you can simply forward it to us.
• Pick up a physical copy from your doctor's office and bring it to your appointment.
• Request your doctor's office to mail it to you if that is a better option for you.
You can also ask your doctor's office to send the requisition directly to us via our secure fax line. However, please be aware that some offices may not do this due to their specific policies or HIPAA regulations.
